Hello, world. I have created this account with the sole purpose of recording my Fantastic Adventures in Spain this semester. Excited to go abroad? Yes. Nervous? As hell.
Anyway, I don’t leave for another week or so, so I don’t really have anything to write about yet. Except the bureaucracy involved is a pain in the ass, which no one ever tells you, of course. I think I’ve finally finished all of my paper work, run back and forth to the post office, licked stamps, copied documents, been sold into a Chinese brothel, etc etc, and now I just have to wait for the big day (January 11th!) when I get to leave.
In the meantime, here are some of my New Years Resolutions:
- Wear more red lipstick
- Be able to do the whole P90X Yoga routine
- Stop putting my foot in my mouth
- Become more politically aware
- Finish (gasp! big one!) my book. 26,000 words and counting!
- Use capital letters online
- Pursue Happiness
